The blurb says it is ‘a six day introductory course to filmmaking with the emphasis on “where fiction ends and documentary begins”, this course covers the various different approaches to documentary film and includes workshops on HDV cameras, sound recording and editing on Final Cut Pro.

‘Students will also learn about directing, producing, pre-production, storyboards, and shooting coverage for a scene. Each student will gain hands on experience of directing, filming, recording sound and editing by making a short documentary film within a team, which will be screened on DVD at the end of the course.’
