The Fangoria Weekend of Horrors, which is on in Manhattan, New York, tonight and tomorrow (Friday, June 5 and Saturday, June 6), has selected Ashley Thorpe’s Scayrecrow and The Screaming Skull in a back-to-back screening in its film room.
“British horror revival begins here in the South West,” said Ashley Thorpe as he picked up the media innovations award for independent film, and he should know -he’s picking up awards, and plaudits, and favourable reviews wherever he goes.
It’s that bursary time the year, with the deadline for the Exeter Phoenix and Media Centre Galleries digital media bursary rearing its head on February 28.
Prepare for Plan 9, not from Outer Space, but from the Exeter Phoenix media Centre. It is the arts centre’s very own monthly movie round up programme to be broacast over the Exeter Phoenix’s very own radio station. But don’t worry, you can hear it over the internet – apparently.
