We’re picking up some of the tremors of excitement about the Flipside Film Festival (you may have noticed the six stories this week). But with such a smorgesbord of events, how do you decide? We got in touch with organiser Dan Paolantonio to find out what’s pressing his ‘play’ button.
Flatpack Flipside
Now, the moment you’ve all been waiting for – news of the cinema shed at Plymouth’s Flipside film festival (May 21-31). Situated on New George Street (outside the Waterstones bookstore) from May 27-30, The Shed will showcase an eclectic programme of films created using ‘endangered’ technologies and practices.
Look to the Hills
Joining Don Letts at Plymouth’s Flipside film festival (May 21-31) will be Tony Hill and Ed Hill (no relation!). Tony’s award-winning work includes sculpture, photography, installations, short films for cinema and TV and commercial directing.
