The Exeter Film Society returns from its summer hiatus with the Werner Herzog documentary Encounters At The End Of The World, on Wednesday, September 9 (6pm and 8.15pm).
Deborah Moggach, whose screenplays include The Diary of Anne Frank, Pride and Prejudice and Love in a Cold Climate, will be at Exeter University on Wednesday, May 20 from 6pm to 7.30pm.
This year’s Chagford Filmmaking Group film is a grippingly scary fairytale from Northumbria about a princess who gets turned into a dragon. The shoot takes place between August 11 and 16, and they are looking for boys and girls between 11 and 15 for roles in the film.
Top broadcast commissioners will be on hand to talk about the whole gamut of commissioning issues in at the National Martime Museum in Falmouth on Thursday April 2, between 6pm and 8.30pm.
The Film Academy, an informal exploration of film, is taking place at the Plymouth Arts Centre at 6pm this evening.
