Action-packed September from Swashbuckling Cornwall
Swashbuckling Cornwall has an action-packed September ahead with more to come!
Starting on Tuesday 1 September, there is a chance to take part in Quarterstaff for stage and screen workshops.
The Quarterstaff, an iconic medieval weapon most famously associated with Robin Hood, is rooted in Western European tradition, while its cousin, the Bo staff, is strongly associated with some Japanese martial arts. The workshop will cover a range of attacks and parries, along with a chance to add some flair!
Later in the month (27 September), there is a chance to unleash your inner Knight with two workshops exploring medieval swordplay for stage and screen. Then step into a galaxy far, far away for a battle between good and evil with lightsabers.
Go along and test your mettle in one or all of these workshops.
