Preston Street Films | named Exeter Uni Employer of the Month
Preston Street Films has been named Employer of the Month by the University of Exeter in recognition of its work supporting student employability and widening access to creative industry experience.
The Exeter-based production company received the award from the University’s Student Employment team for its ongoing involvement in the Access to Internships (A2i) and Professional Pathways programmes.
Hands-on experience
Through the partnership, Preston Street Films has provided students with hands-on experience in the film and audio industries, with a particular focus on supporting those from underrepresented backgrounds to build confidence, develop professional skills and gain practical workplace experience.
In announcing the award, the University of Exeter praised Preston Street Films for its “outstanding and sustained commitment” to student development and described the company as an exemplary employer partner.

The recognition reflects Preston Street Films’ continued commitment to investing in emerging talent and helping bridge the gap between education and industry within the South West’s creative sector.
