If you’ve ever shuffled into an all-night supermarket in the wee hours, you’ll be aware of the ghoulies that creep along the aisles. That ripe nightmarish scenario is being mined in The Graveyard Shift, ‘a dark comedy/horror film series set in a supermarket at night’. And you can get involved with the help of a Kickstarter campaign. Plus they need more corpses!
Strange goings-on, odd staff and a very unnerving shopping experience… No, it’s not Asda, but Millieways, a 24-hour supermarket chain, where the curios of The Graveyard Shift inhabit.
Writers Ollie Would (who also directs) and Jay Robertson have created a bizzarro world including a yeti, a witch and a crawly something that creates havoc for the mostly hapless staff among the weird and wonderful produce.
The first episode was released in September, and the second episode is imminent, which is why your Kickstarter support would be much appreciated. Plus there are goodies and credits to be gained by your particpation.
Watch the first episode and pop over to the Kickstarter page to meet the team, see more about the project and find out what your donation will get you.
