Horror comes to Devon: Halloween Horror Convention in Torbay
Fun, thrills, and the occasional chill are coming to Devon in the form of the Optimus Halloween Horror Convention.
The comic con event will include a few stars from film and TV, a cosplay competition, plus a chance to sit on the Simpsons’ sofa. And a Back To The Future De Lorian will be in attendance.
Other special guest vehicles will be the Mystery Machine, and a quirky hearse. And if you want to get creative there’s pumpkin carving, a kids Halloween costume competition, along with prop displays, trader stalls, face painting, a retro games area and a comic drawing workshop with Karen Rubins.
Also in attendance will be guest signers: Madeline Smith (Hammer Horror/Bond girl); Victoria Broom (The Herd); Jon Campling (Death Eater Harry Potter); Andrew Lawden (Star Wars); Jon Davey (Dr Who); and Evelyn Rei (WWZ).
Pop over to the website to see the days they will be in attendance along with the full run-down of what’s on offer -we’re looking forward to the giant Mr Stay Puft! (You can also get the low down on entry prices.)
The Optimus Halloween Horror Convention takes place at Cockington Court, Torbay, on October 31 and November 1, 2015.
