National and international trailers for Torbay film The Runner
“The Runner -lights, camera, action and coffee -has to be one of the most enjoyable films I’ve made as director so far. And as a team collaboration, the creative journey has been the most fulfilling,” filmmaker John Tomkins told D&CFilm.
Here are two new trailers for the film, designed to help get the film to a wider audience.
“For the first time I wanted to use voice overs on the trailers, which with the help of filmmaker Alex White (recording) and the vocal talents of actors Lee Rawlings, Prudence Catley and Aaron Turner worked really well,” said John.
“It was so tempting to include more scenes in the trailers , but I didn’t want to overload them.
“So here are the UK and international trailers for the film, which hopefully also highlight what a great cast we had.”
The film’s next steps are festivals and other media later in the year. Keep up-to-date with The Runner on the Facebook page or on Twitter.
