After a summer hiatus, Torbay Film Club hit the ground running with the first screening of their new season on September 11.
The film is Oranges and Sunshine, directed by Jim Loach and starring Emily Watson, and screens at Torquay Museum at 7.30pm. One-off admission is just £5.50 or you can buy a year’s membership for just £29.
Torbay Film Club are dedicated to showing films outside of the mainstream that you may not get at a regular multiplex, from all over the world. They also screen old classics that raise a sense of nostalgic spirit.
Following Oranges and Sunshine, the season continues with A High Wind in Jamaica on October 2. Torbay Film Club’s new season coincides with the launch of their brand new website, which is available to view here: http://torbayfilmclub.co.uk/
