With the new film from multi-award-winning filmmaker David Salas -Landscape – in production, we thought it would be worthwhile to take a gander at his 2009 film, Uncomfortable.
Beautifully, and sensitively shot, the short film covers a lot of emotional ground in 15 minutes.
When the film was to be screened at The Barn, Dartington, David told D&CFilm, that the movie was loosely based on several true stories.
‘It was very personal for many of the people involved and we all brought our experiences together to create the film,” he said.
‘Bringing a powerful and emotive story about old age to the forefront is especially important as it is so often ignored in our culture.’
