Two members of the Depp household are making an appearance at the Dartington Barn cinema this week, what with Monsieur Depp staring in Dark Shadows. While Madame Paradis is making an appearance in the touching Cafe De Flore.
Vanessa plays the role of a Parisienne single mother raising a young son with Down’s Syndrome. That part of the dual narrative is set in 1969, with another strand of the story set in present-day Montreal.
It was a role for which Vanessa picked up Best Actress prize at the 2012 Genies, Canada’s equivalent to the Oscars, and she ‘spoke’ to D&CFilm about the film.
Cafe De Flore is at The Barn, Dartington, from June 1 to June 7, here’s the trailer.
