
Waltz with Bashir is Ari Folman’s animated documentary into the horrors of the 1982 Lebanon war. It is being screened at The Poly, Falmouth, as part of Shifting Sands -An exhibition from Guy Martin, which covers Guy’s photography of the Arab Spring.
Despite a catalogue of international awards and nominations, as well as on-going popularity and success, Waltz with Bashie is still officially banned in Lebanon.
The film will be introduced by Andy Wyatt programme leader for Digital Animation, University College Falmouth.
The screening takes place at The Poly, Falmouth, on Thursday, January 12. Tickets cost £6.50, £5 concessions £4 student.
