The trailer has been released for the latest film from the Chagford Filmmaking Group, The Ballad of Mary Whyddon.
The film is a Dartmoor Tale set in 17th century Chagford, and is based on a real life tragedy that over the centuries has passed from history into legend.
As is usual with the effervescent Chagford Filmmaking Group, a team of volunteers -including talented industry professionals -donated their time.
Some of the filming took place in Chagford’s historic Church Rooms, and one of the set designers apparently twice bumped into a ghost on the ancient granite spiral staircase.
