Sir Lanval exhibition and talks in Dartmouth and Exeter

An exhibition of costumes and other delights from the Chagford Filmmaking Group‘s feature film, Sir Lanval, is running until the end of the month (November) at the Flavel Arts Centre in Dartmouth, Devon.

Director and the filmmaking wind beneath the fairy wings of the production, Elizabeth-Jane Baldry will give a talk on the making of the film, including clips and behind-the-scenes adventures along with tales of pigs, maggots and magical white horses appearing from nowhere, on Saturday, November 27, at noon.

And there will be a screening of Peerifool: An Orkney Fairytale at the Flavel on Sunday, November 28 at 11.30am.

Plus, the exhibition of newly commissioned artwork inspired by the Lanval story runs in Exeter Castle, Monday, December 6 to Saturday, December 18 after its run in Brittany over the summer.
