The refurbished Exeter Picturehouse is due to open to the public on Friday, October 8 after a £250,000 refit.
Comfy sofas have been installed in the back of screen one. And screen two has been fitted with stadium-style seating.
The lush seats have brought the whole cinema up to the standard of the Picturehouse’s state-of-the-art digital projection facilities and its new 3D screen, say the proud proprietors.
Plush new decor aside, true D+CFilm film-lovers will be happy to know that the cinema is reverting to its old opening times, with matinees every afternoon.
Other things to look out for are the racing green bar with upgraded furniture, the refitted loos and the walls that have been freshened up with a lick o’ paint.
