Paignton filmmaker Ashley Wing is looking for a compositor to help out on his long-gestating sci-fi short Fracture.
Regular readers of D+CFilm will know Ash is the man behind Hard Day’s Knight, Poppies, and Between The Lines, but Fracture is his most ambitious project yet.
The film is finally nearing completion, after two years in post production, so Ash and his crew are looking for extra help to meet deadlines.
The project is unpaid but all involved will get to work alongside a creative and friendly team of independent filmmakers on a fun and ambitious project. Take our word for it, the footage we’ve seen so far will blow your socks off – our exclusive picture at the top of the page gives you an idea what to expect.
Ash told D+CFilm: “We are looking for artists to assist in compositing under the supervision of our vfx lead.
“The shots are demanding and will be beyond the skills of beginners, so we require artists with a good experience of After Effects and/or other compositing software.”
Everyone involved will receive a DVD of the completed film and there’ll be a screening in London open to anyone involved.
