It’s all go for the South Devon filmmaking champions at Cottage Industry Films, not only will a couple of their films get an airing at the Appledore Arts Festival, but they are due to start shooting their next short, and they’re gearing up for their first feature.
Two of the crew’s films, A Hard Day’s Knight and Poppies, will be screened in North Devon’s Appledore Arts Festival, which takes place on Thursday to Saturday, June 3-5 at the Glove Factory in the town (the daily programme of screenings will be in the festival’s information tent).
Ashley Wing, who is half of Cottage Indstury Films with Clayton Fussell, told D+CFilm: “In other news we are now in the pre-production on our next short film titled Me, Myslef & I due to be shot later this year.”
The story Me Myself & I is a surreal comedy about the ordinary, middle-aged Phillip, whose battle with his self-doubt and self-confidence spills out from his head and into his reality.
And the Ashley and Clayton are now in the midst of developing their first feature.
Meanwhile, here’s another of their films, OMG.
