Seth Lakeman fans can see an exclusive screening of his new Live At The Minack DVD at Truro’s Plaza Cinema on Thursday, December 3.
The film captures Seth and his live band performing to a rapturous crowd at the spectacular open-air Minack Theatre in Penzance last May.
It was put together by Modbury-based production company Televisionary, who were also responsible for the 2008 Royal Television Society (Devon & Cornwall) Award-winning documentary, Seth Lakeman: Made In England as well as series for the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Skysports, Discovery, UKTV and a number of the other digital/satellite channels.
Their annual coverage of the London Boat Show has helped turn the event into the biggest regularly staged show in
the UK, while their coverage of the UK’s Indoor Windsurfing Championships launched this spectacular event into a regular spot on the marine calendar.
Their coverage of The UAE President’s Cup 100 mile endurance ride, is broadcast by more than 30 channels across the globe and has an annual reach of more than 550 million homes.
Last year, Televisionary entered the Broadcast magazine list of the UK’s top 150 production companies for the first time -establishing the four year old company as one of the largest in the South West of England and one of the fastest growing in the UK.
Most recently, they’ve been working on a series of films for the Met Office, highlighting the organisation’s work on climate change and pioneering science.
