Michael Winner filming in East Cornwall for new reality food show
Polhawn Fort on the Rame Peninsula in South East Cornwall was one of the final venues for new reality TV show Michael Winner’s Dining Stars.
The show’s got the novel format of contestants cooking food for restaurant critic and former film director Michael Winner, after which he tells them what’s wrong with it and themselves, probably.
Artist Teresa Wicksteed told South West Business that she and her husband, who bought and restored the Palmerston Fort, where the show was fimed and Winner and the crew stayed, 21 years ago, kept out of the limelight during the filming.
