The Totnes film company Smith Watson Productions and journalist Phil Scobie are looking to make a documentary about the Training for Life charity which transformed the former St Barnabas Church in Dartmouth into a restaurant training centre for the jobless and homeless refuge.
The documentary follows the cooperation between the film company and Phil on the last shipyards in Dartmouth, Philip and Son, at Noss on Dart.
The Training for Life charity is digging out the history of its buildings -it also runs and centre in London -and the search is on for people who have memories of the church.
If you can help, call Phil on 07876 767969 or Chris on 01803 863033 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
