Big Screen in the Park is taking place in the Northernhay Gardens again this year, when the open air summer cinema screenings begin on Wednesday, August 12.
The programme this year includes Waveriders (Wednesday, August 12), Wall-E (Thursday, August 13), Star Trek (Friday, August 14) and Mama Mia (Saturday, August 15).
And even though no alcohol is allowed, we reckon they’ll be singing on the blankets for that last one. Don’t forget the Devon connection with Wall-E -Torquay boy Roger Deakins acted as a special advisor on the film and picked up his eighth Oscar nomination to boot.
Entry is £1, doors open at 7.30pm and the films kick off at 9pm. For more details contact the Exeter Phoenix box office on 01392 667 080.
