The Appledore Arts Festival has always been keen on workshops, and here’s the latest from this year’s North Devon arts extravaganza, plus the making of.
Filmmakers Josh Gaunt and Tanya Morel lead a six-hour workshop. 2D animations were created using scraper materials, which were then made on iCanAnimate & iStopmotion Pro2.
Anyone who’s gone to one of these things knows that waiting for your go with the stop mo can get a bit dull, so a Flip camera was passed around for participants to make a documentary about the workshop while they were waiting their turn. Good idea, non?
