The vanguard of the revival of modern British horror, Ashley Thorpe of Carrion Films -he of Scayrecrow fame, winner of independent filmmaker of the year award and traveller to Cannes (to name but three) will be on Jo Loosemore’s The Review on BBC Radio Devon tonight between (Thursday, May 7) 6pm and 7pm.
The conversation will probably explore Ashley’s ongoing Penny Dreadful project -the latest manifestation of which is The Hairy Hands, and is that latest coverage in his bulging book of press cuttings.
If you want pictures as well as words, catch Ashley in the latest D+CFilm Show, Fairytales and Nightmares, or you can listen to an interview we had with the filmmaker. You could also find out what horror flicks make him tick.
Of course, if you miss The Review on BBC Radio Devon (95.7FM, 103.4FM), you could always catch it on the BBC Devon iPlayer for a week.
