The Exeter Vue cinema is introducing a mystery movie night once a month, starting on Tuesday, May 5 -you won’t know what film you’re watching until the opening credits.
It’s an attempt to get cinema goes watching films they wouldn’t otherwise site through. But if it’s more Marley and Me than Manon de Sources you’ll be able to walk out and get a refund in the first 20 minutes.
Mark de Quervain, sales and marketing director for Vue Entertainment, said: “We’re playing on the thrill of the unknown. It’s all about getting people to see films they normally wouldn’t see. We want to broaden their film horizons and offer an exciting cinema experience.”
