You have two chances to see the latest Third Wave contributions on the big screen this week.
The first screening will be at the Creative Collective on Tuesday, April 21 at Exeter Phoenix Media Centre’s Black Box at 7pm. Entrance is free for this screening, but you will need to get a ticket from the Phoenix Box Office to secure a seat.
The second will be during the Umbrella Factory arts event on Saturday, April 25 at The Hub, Exeter.
Last Wednesday (April 15), the Third Wave film, pAra NoiA was picked up by Vimeo staff and screened at an offline event in Brooklyn NYC celebrating films made in a single take.
As a result, the film featured on both the Vimeo homepage and Vimeo HD Channel which has, to date, generated over 10,000 views.
Also, Dance in Devon will soon be holding a World Dance Day do in Plymouth. For this event, they will be screening the new Third Wave film, Missing! as well as other Dance themed work on the BBC Big Screen.
Missing! by Mandy Finesilver & Curt Hennells has also picked up interest from both South Devon’s online Arts and Culture Magazine and The Herald Express for which Curt was interviewed and photographed in front of Phoenix Media’s graffitti mural.
