The legendary Meryl Steep will be at the Exeter Picturehouse in person via satellite on Saturday, January 17 at 7pm.
The event, BAFTA: A Life in Pictures – Meryl Streep, will have the actress talking about her life in pictures, with extracts from The Deer Hunter, Silkwood, Manhattan, Kramer Versus Kramer, Out Of Africa, Sophie’s Choice, Death Becomes Her, The Devil Wears Prada and Mamma Mia, to name but a few.
Here’s a little bit about BAFTA: A Life in Pictures, they are “special events held across the UK celebrating film. Each event explores a major and distinctive contribution by a BAFTA winner or nominee. Past focuses have included Guillermo del Toro, Paul Greengrass, Cate Blanchett, Amitabh Bachchan, Alfonso Cuarón and Virginia McKenna OBE.”
Tickets are priced as follows: Full Price £5.50, Concessions £4, Members £3.50
Running time for the event is 90 minutes max.
