The Exeter Phoenix Media centre has launched 60 Second Soundtrack Remix Challenge – for you to create your own audio mix made up entirely of bits from films soundtracks.
Mash ups are all the rage, especially when they’re called remixes, and what better time to dive into a movie soundtrack remix challenge than over Christmas – you’ve got the opportunity to watch loads of films combined with a desire to sit in a dark room all on your own.
Once completed, email your remixed masterpieces to stuart@exeterphoenix.org.uk with ’60 Second Soundtrack Remix Challenge’ as the subject by noon on Tuesday, January 6.
The best mixes will be played at the Creative Collective on Tuesday, January 13 (7pm / Black Box / Free) and on the radio show Plan 9 on Phonic FM – Wednesday, January, 14, from noon – 2pm (106.8FM around Exeter and online at Phonic.fm).
Audiences at the Creative Collective and Phonic FM listeners will be asked to vote for their favourite remix. The winner will be announced at the end of the radio show.
