Documentary masterclass at View from Here with industry professionals

NEW DATE!

The View from Here film festival in South Devon has arranged a master class for documentary filmmakers to get their idea into pitching shape, and primed to start chasing cash.

The day will be led by award-winning documentary filmmaker Jerry Rothwell, who has shown his story about Donald Crowhurst’s Teignmouth Electron and punk band biography Heavy Load at previous festivals.

He’ll be joined by BBC producer/director and founder of A38 Films, Mick Catmull.

Together they’ll screen examples of what to expect during a pitching process, pitching practice, and time with each director working through the ideas.

Because it’s an intensive day, there’s only enough space for six filmmakers.

The cost is £140 with lunch included and bursaries are available.
