Last week we received news that Robin Whenary had won a prize in Hungary for his short film Fear, and for this week’s D+CFilm Film of the Week, we thought we’d bring you another of Robin’s offerings – Motion. The Fangoria Weekend of Horrors, which is on in Manhattan, New York, tonight and tomorrow (Friday, June 5 and Saturday, June 6), has selected Ashley Thorpe’s Scayrecrow and The Screaming Skull in a back-to-back screening in its film room. Talk of its demise have been premature (or something like that). Animated Exeter, the animation showcase for the south west and beyond, is set to continue in 2010 with a new slicker, tighter and better look and feel. Serendipity DOES exist! Darren Jones, of RedMunkey Films, whose documentary of John Tomkins making the feature Like an Angel (which will culminated in the premiere at the Spanish Barn, Torre Abbey, Torquay on May 28), shot this latest video for The Weaver Twins, which has been designated our first Something For the Weekend, Music Video.
