It’s post production time in Alex White’s round of his first film Deadly Illusions and things aren’t going smoothly, with the film only just about making it to the premiere. Alex’s latest film In the Garden of Terrible Delights premiered in Exeter on February 14 The D+CFilm Show’s very own Alex White has premiered his latest flick In the Garden of Terrible Delights. We caught up with the making of his first film, Deadly Illusions, and shooting doesn’t go as smoothly – or as quickly – as he hoped. London-based documentary team Tiger Productions have been in Torquay filming The Story of Fawlty Towers. Today feels a bit anticlimactic – no more Talent Campus and probably no more film parties I can get into. It’s cold as well, very, very cold. Almost everyone at the market has already given up and gone home or else gone to the nearest bar. I’m left to reflect on things for the Sore head today. I managed to make it into the British Council party last night. I had forgotten that they have a short film of mine that they send out to international festivals so, with a bit of smooth talking, a business card and a smile I make it in.
