Plymouth born creative, Jojo, has launched a campaign to raise funds for his first major short film, Visiting Hour. The film is to be shot in late spring this year. The script has been developed, the actors cast and the crew assembled: the only thing missing is the finance.
Jojo is using Kickstarter as the main method of fundraising (people can back the project for various amounts and benefit from different rewards). While trying to attract philanthropists willing to contribute large sums, Jojo has set himself the goal of also trying to get 1000 people to back the project to the tune of £2 each.
Jojo told D&CFilm: “I have a habit of setting myself seemingly impossibly ambitious projects and on the face of it, this is another one, but amazingly with the help of the fabulous folk of Plymouth, so far I have managed to pull off all of them. Please help if you can.”
To find out more and spare your pennies pop over to the Visiting Hour page on Kickstarter before March 5, or you can contact Jojo on firstname.lastname@example.org or 01752 603 480.
