Exeter filmmaker Ashley Thorpe will be on Radio Four
Dartmoor legend aficionado, filmmaking and leading light in the revival of British Horror, Ashley Thorpe of Carrion Films will be on Radio 4 talking about Dartmoor legends.
Ashley was interviewed by Ann Widdecombe – who is something of a Dartmoor legend herself – about the legends of the moor, specifically The Hairy Hands, which was the subject of one of Ashley’s films.
The interview covered the animations and the myths that led to their creation.
The programme, Ann Widdecombe’s Hell Hounds and Night Hags, is scheduled to be broadcast on Monday, July 9 at 4pm.
