The Water's Edge: watch the wonderfully shot sci-fi short online
The Water’s Edge, a sci-fi tale penned by Devon screenwriter Richard Standen, has had a successful run on the film festival circuit, and now you can watch it online.
The film, directed by Chris Thomas, is set in Britain after an alien invasion and follows Robert Stenuit’s (Mark Drake) survival as he avoids alien invasion and considers the salvation that water seems to provide.
According to our own reviewer Simon Roger Key, there’s some excellent cinematography and ‘the use of diegetic and non-diegetic sound is very impressive’. All of which cranks up the tension and atmosphere of the short.
