The Nature of Angrove: premieres at the Exeter Phoenix

Exeter Phoenix Digital would like to invite D&CFilm readers to a special film event to celebrate new British film talent.

Buy a ticket to see Skeletons and watch the Nature of Angrove premiere for free.

The award-winning dark comedy Skeletons leads the way on Thursday, March 8 at 6pm. Directed by Nick Whitfield, his first feature film, Skeletons is the tale of a mismatched pair of salesmen traveling across Britain cleaning skeletons out of closets. Described as “the finest cult film to come out of Britain since Withnail & I” Skeletons uses intense and pungent English characteristics to keep audiences inspired, intrigued and above all laughing.

The evening will also premiere The Nature Of Angrove at 8pm. From the creative team behind award-winning Mrs Lustleigh’s Fancies comes inspired British talent. Written, produced and directed locally, The Nature of Angrove follows a loveless magician, who is forced to join a dating agency by his overpowering mother. After a series of disastrous mismatches, Angrove finally meets his true love. But will his mother approve and what magical lengths will he have to go to to win his love over?
