Two Short Nights light show at the Exeter Phoenix

As filmmakers from the region and beyond gather in the Exeter Phoenix for the Two Short Nights film festival, outside was a dramatic display of light and sound – we’ve got just a snippet for you taken on a dodgy phone camera.

Called Mapping, visual artist and VJ Elliott Stallion projected a site-specific sculptural lightshow on the front of the Exeter Phoenix building in sync to an audio soundscape specifically produced by audio artist Ju Murphy.

If film festivals are your thing, or you didn’t manage to get tickets to the bursary screenings, then pop along to the View from Here film festival in South Devon. Some of the bursary films will be part of the Inn View element of the festival, taking movies to the cultural night life throughout South Devon on Wednesday, December 2 and Thursday, December 3. And the D+CFilm Open audience award winning film, Robbing Peter will be screening at the last night event.

Check out the View from Here site for more details.
