Want to get your film made? We asked the filmmaking due who embody D+CFilm, Ashley Wing and Clayton Fussell – one’s from Devon, the other’s from Cornwall – to give us their five tips on getting your film made.
Ashley Wing and Clayton Fussell’s Five Tips on Getting your Film Made
1. Write a great (simple) script.
2. Re-write that script about 10 times until it’s REALLY great, and get lots of feedback from people who will be honest with you.
3. Plan as much as possible and save as much money as you can.
4. Get enough crew so that you aren’t doing everything. We’ve seen people try and do everything and it has almost always failed.
5. Don’t get you friends to act unless you have to. Get proper actors. It makes all the difference.
