D+CFilm Open screening at Two Short Nights gets record submissions

The D+CFilm Open screening at the eighth Two Short Nights films festival at the Exeter Phoenix, on Friday, November 27 had a record number of entries this year from all over the world.

More than 140 short films were submitted to the open screening, which is D+CFilm’s chance to draw in filmmakers from throughout the world to our Devon and Cornwall hub, to sit amongst more home-grown talent.

Other events at Two Short Nights includes the much anticipated screening of bursary films along with other Exeter Phoenix Media Centre supported short flicks. Plus there the 48 Hour Challenge screening, the Gureilla Filmmaking Workshop and the Media Mashup Conference.
