D+Cineastes who find themselves at a bit of a loose end this weekend, might wanna check out the Daily Script website.
It boasts a buncha movie scripts and screenplays to serve as a resource for writers, actors and those who simply enjoy reading movie scripts.
The scripts are presented in their proper format (for the most part) and where possible, multiple drafts are presented.
It’s pretty fascinating to browse through work by Kubrick, Kaufman, Cameron, Goldman, Benioff, Peoples, etc, and we think you’ll probably find it kinda educational too.
After all, even the process of making the biggest and most expensive movie has to begin with words on a page. Sometimes it’s worth being reminded of that fact.
