There’s a documentary filmmaking course as part of the Dartmoor Arts Summer School, between July 25 and July 31.
The tutors are Anson Hartford, Hugh Hartford and Chris Jones, who also go by the name of Banyak Productions, but you may know them from the beautiful The Crinoline and the Rose (a one time film of the week here on D+CFilms) and the James Ravilious documentary, to name but two.
The team has years of experience and run Cinemarvelous, which is a collective of filmmakers runing film workshops in vairous youth clubs and festivals around the county.
The Dartmoor Arts Summer School is set open to anyone 17 or over who is interested in learning all the elements of making a short documentary film is six days. All within the artists mecca of North Dartmoor, Drewsteignton.
