See Mystery Movie at Plymouth Vue before its release

The second of Vue’s Mystery Movie screenings will be taking place at Plymouth Vue on Tuesday, June 9 at 6.30pm, where you lucky people can see a new film before its official release.

The only snag, if you can call it a snag (we call it living on the edge), is that you won’t know what film it is until the opening credits. All you’ll be able to garner beforehand is the certification.

The Mystery Movie programme opened last month with Star Trek.

Mark de Quervain, sales and marketing director for Vue Entertainment, told D+CFilm: “It’s an exciting way of getting people to see films they normally wouldn’t see. We want to broaden their film horizons and offer an exciting cinema experience.”

But if the horizon-broadening isn’t to your flavour, you can claim a refund if you leg it in the first 20 minutes of the film. There are no trailers, no adverts and you’re advised to get there in good time.
