Spring must be in the air, the famous Deckchair Cinema of Croyde is coming out of its winter snooze tomorrow (Saturday March 7), and to kick off the new season it has something special.
For the first Saturday evening, Deckchair Cinema will be showing ‘a series of short, unusual, fun films’, which will be followed by 35 minutes of the longboarding action of JBrother’s surf film Longer. “Not since the days of Phil and David or Gerry and Wayne, have you seen better longboarding, longer noserides or more stylish tuberiding,” says the blurb (we can only nod in agreement).
What we do understand is free popcorn – which will be available all night, and cheap tickets £3.50 on the door or just £1 for Croyde/Georgeham youth club kids and Croyde Surf Life Saving kids, films start at 8pm.
And check out other events, like the Super Surf Sunday showing the North Devon Surf History film.
