The ‘one man film industry’ who is Don Boyd presented the awards to winners at the Exeter Phoenix’s Two Short Nights film festival, and so far only one of those who up the trophies, designed by Ben Yates, have been interviewed by us at D+CFilm.
The judges vote for bursary film went to Toby De Burgh’s Distractions, with the audience award going to Make The Difference by Andrew Oxley. The Exeter University filmmaker prize went to Luke Hagan, who’s film for One Year On was shown during the D+CFilm Open Screening. Luke was part of the selection panel for last year’s D+CFilm Open Screening. And this year’s audience award for the Open Screening went to After School Club.
Take a gander at the line up for this year’s bursary films, and listen to our interviews with the filmmakers.
