Rumour has it that South Devon’s own Paul Andrew Williams is set to direct 28 Months Later – the second sequel to 28 Days Later (we’re guessing you worked that out already).
The helmer of London To Brighton and The Cottage, who recently appeared at the English Riviera Comedy Film Festival, has family in Combeinteignhead, and went to school in Teignmouth. Paul shot to prominence with his first feature, the gritty tale London to Brighton, picking up a Bafta nomination on the way.
His second film, The Cottage, was a comedy/horror/slasher-type affair featuring non other than King Kong himself, in his alter ego of Andy Serkis, of course.
At the moment another of Paul’s stories has been made into The Day, currently in post production – which sounds like Village of the Damned meets The Grinch.
