Every doc has its day

Do you love documentary? Do you enjoy a rubbish pun? Well then, DocDay Afternoon is for you.

It’s been created for A-level students who want to make a documentary and get it up on the Channel 4 broadband documentary channel, FourDocs.

Be prepared for an inspiring, intensive and entertaining day of panels, workshops, screenings and filmmaking surgeries, with leading documentary experts on-hand to lend a hand (if you see what we mean).

DocDay Afternoon will take place on Wednesday, November 7 from 10am to 6pm at Sheffield University.

The day costs £10 per student and teachers accompanying a group of students go free. For tickets and information, call 0114 275 7727.

Oh, and while we’re talking about documentaries, don’t forget D+CFree @ Two Short Nights. It’s gonna be chuffing great.
