Two Days In Paris is released tomorrow, and to celebrate D+CFilm has an interview with director and star Julie Delpy for your delectation.
The movie has inevitably been compared to Before Sunrise and Before Sunset, but we reckon there’s also a hefty dose of Woody Allen and Godard thrown in there too (check out Delpy’s Woody-specs in the trailer!).
In short, it’s a sterling debut, which, had it been directed by a fella, would’ve been lauded as a masterpiece from a hot new talent to watch. As it is, idiot critics have admitted it’s pretty good, yknow, for a woman.
Anyway, we reckon we’re gonna run the interview on Saturday, so be sure to tune in then. In the meantime, here’s the Two Days In Paris trailer. And yes, we managed to get through this post without mentioning One Night In Paris, which, as you well know, is a different kinda film entirely.
