We’re our own worst enemies, movie-wise. We get stupidly excited about a forthcoming flick, only to feel let down, used and a bit pathetic when we catch the final, invariably gimcrack, product.

And there’s no reason to assume Michael Bay’s Transformers will be any different - except for this amazing new footage posted on his website.

Yeah, we know we’re heading for disappointment but for the moment, this looks the absolute business. July 27 can’t come soon enough!
