Cornish cream
It seems strange to be talking about Cornwall Film Festival 2007 already but that’s the way it works in the movie business, daddio.
This year’s event will be a week earlier than usual, running from November 9-11, and boasts the premiere of Brett Harvey’s award-winning An Jowl yn Agas Kegin (hey, that’s easy for you to say).
But never mind all that. You probably wanna enter your opus in the fest, doncha? Well, first make sure one of your creative team (writer, director, producer) is a resident in Cornwall.
Once that’s taken care of, sign an application form and send it off with a standard definition DVD viewing copy of your work (be sure it can be played in a domestic player).
Submissions up to 6pm on Tuesday, July 10 are free. After that date, you’ll have to pay a £25 admin fee. Final deadline is 6pm on Tuesday, July 24.
Now, hop along to the Cornwall Film Festival website for more details and to download an application form. Off you go then.
