Aria manager

Exeter Picturehouse will be going for a song on Saturday, April 28 with a broadcast of the Metropolitan Opera, live from Noo Yoik.

They’ll be showing a new production of Puccini’s triple bill of one-act operas,
Il Trittico, directed by Jack O’Brien and conducted by Met fave James Levine
(as if any of that means anything to yous lot).

Expect a night of love, jealousy, murder, suicide, religious rapture, and intrigue - and that’s before the show even starts!

Ah, we jest. Anyway, there’ll be all the atmosphere of the theatre at this swanky event, with staff in formal evening wear and a perfect high def satellite image (which you don’t get at the theatre but you see our meaning).

Tickets are priced £25 full price, £20 concessions and £17.50 members -
which seems a little steep considering you’ll just be sitting around watching a glorified telly.

Nevertheless, tickets are selling like those proverbial hot cakes so book now by calling 08707 551238 or visiting the Exeter Picturehouse website.
