There’s another chance to catch the best of 2005′s Cornwall Film Festival at The Melting Pot Cafe, in Redruth’s Old Grammar School, on Saturday.
And yes, we did say 2005 – the best of 2006′s fest is apparently out on tour as part of the Carn To Cove scheme.
Anyway, the shindig will feature the best of the films submitted to the 2005 festival, available to view from 11am to 4pm.
As well as having the chance to enjoy the cream of Cornish filmmaking, D+Cineastes will also get the opportunity to check out some of the other creative stuff at The Old Grammar School, with work by Lynne Devey, Siobhan Purdy and Milestone Miniatures.
But never mind all that – what films are gonna be shown? Well, pick of the bunch should be If The Population Of Cornwall Was One Hundred Toy Soldiers by Laura Hardman and Jack Morrison; And That’s How I Accidentally Confused The Eco-Mob by Mark Jenkin; Fire And Water by Chris Stonehill and Sunday Bench by Russell Hancock.
Not too shabby. And the best news is, it’ll cost you absolutely nought pence to get in. For more information, have a look at the Cornwall Film Festival website.
But before we go, apropos of nothing, here’s a video of Alanis Morrisette performing Black Eyed Peas’ My Humps! Obviously.
